As we continue to grow and change the norm when it comes to hiring sales professionals, PondLeap is seeking an Account/Project Manager to assist us in client management as we rapidly grow and scale. The role will support our sales professionals engaged with clients and work as a liaison between PondLeap, our engaged freelancers, and our Clients. Playing a critical role in the success of our services, this person will work to ensure that existing engagements run smoothly and that both clients and freelancers are happy. We’re looking for people who are organized, eager to engage with clients, enjoy and are comfortable communicating with people at all levels, and are excited to develop their skills in a growing sales organization. 


Your objectives in this role will be...


  • Ensure freelancer’s targets are met on client engagements

  • Report on freelancer progress to both PondLeap internal and client teams

  • Engage with the client throughout the project to track progress and success and maximize additional opportunities for both Client and PondLeap


Your day to day will look like...


  • Manage freelancers on your engagements and track their progress

  • Coach newer freelancers, suggesting training and new tactics for ensured success

  • Compile weekly reports cards from freelancers to share outcomes with clients

  • Run project meetings including weekly 1:1s with freelancers and monthly status updates with clients

  • Analyze and present data trends to clients and PondLeap Leadership

  • Maintain and foster client relationships

  • Coordinate and negotiate up-sells, contract renewals, or buy-outs with clients and PondLeap Leadership

  • Monitor engagement personnel ensuring the right team fit for both clients and freelancers

  • Work with PondLeap data management team to maintain client prospecting lists use by freelancers

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize workload

  • Easily communicate via phone and email with all levels of an organization up to and including C-suite executives

  • Understanding of the sales process from initial prospecting to closing to contract renewals

  • Leadership skills necessary to run a cohesive team and project across multiple divisions

  • Understanding of data-analytics and using data to support decision making

  • Ability to determine others’ needs and provide solution-based recommendations

  • Coach and train individuals and run meaningful 1:1’s with junior sales professionals 

  • Passion for startups and the opportunity of the freelance economy

  • Desire to move up within a sales organization
